Pulari Victoria Inc. is proud to continue supporting this life-saving initiative by bringing our community together for a cause that truly matters. \nIn 2025\, with the generous support of our members\, we successfully organised two blood donation drives in April and August. Each donation was a reminder of the compassion and generosity that defines the Pulari community. \nWe are excited to continue this meaningful effort in 2026\, with our next blood donation campaign and bulk booking scheduled for 7th & 8th April 2026. Did you know — one in three people in our area will need blood during their lives? Your small act of kindness today could be a lifeline for someone tomorrow. \nWe encourage everyone who is eligible to take part in this noble cause. SUMMARY:Biggest Morning Tea (Cancer Council Fundraiser)
DESCRIPTION:Australia’s Biggest Morning Tea is a community event that raises vital funds to make a big difference for those impacted by cancer. This year Pulari Victoria proudly hosted its second “Biggest Morning Tea” on Sunday\, 1st June 2025 at Clyde Public Hall. The funds raised were donated to Cancer Council. \nThe event featured insightful and engaging cancer awareness sessions delivered by a panel of speakers who were experts in their own fields. Pulari Victoria extends their sincere gratitude to Dr. Smriti Murali Krishna\, PhD (Biomedical Scientist)\, Dr. Dhanya Sooraj\, PhD (Senior Scientist\, AGRF)\, and Dr. Sreethi Purayath (Dentist). Adding a deeply personal and moving dimension to the event was a powerful cancer survival story shared by Chintu George\, which resonated strongly among attendees. \nThanks to the overwhelming generosity and support of participants\, volunteers\, and donors\, the event successfully raised over $2\,500 for the Cancer Council. These funds will contribute towards critical areas including research\, support services\, prevention initiatives\, and advocacy. \nPulari Victoria extends its heartfelt gratitude to everyone who made this event a success. Together\, we reaffirm our commitment to community care\, compassion\, and making a meaningful difference.
