Biggest Morning Tea (Cancer Council Fundraiser)
Australia’s Biggest Morning Tea is a community event that raises vital funds to make a big difference for those impacted by cancer. This year Pulari Victoria proudly hosted its second “Biggest Morning Tea” on Sunday, 1st June 2025 at Clyde Public Hall. The funds raised were donated to Cancer Council.
The event featured insightful and engaging cancer awareness sessions delivered by a panel of speakers who were experts in their own fields. Pulari Victoria extends their sincere gratitude to Dr. Smriti Murali Krishna, PhD (Biomedical Scientist), Dr. Dhanya Sooraj, PhD (Senior Scientist, AGRF), and Dr. Sreethi Purayath (Dentist). Adding a deeply personal and moving dimension to the event was a powerful cancer survival story shared by Chintu George, which resonated strongly among attendees.
Thanks to the overwhelming generosity and support of participants, volunteers, and donors, the event successfully raised over $2,500 for the Cancer Council. These funds will contribute towards critical areas including research, support services, prevention initiatives, and advocacy.
